Sunday Services

Special Arrangements during 2021

Please note, we are currently in an Inter-regnum and consequently we are operating a special rota during 2021, rather than the usual services below. There church will be open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10-4 for private prayer (and any other days we can open, we shall). There will be either a Eucharist service or a Service of the Word in St Sennen Church each week at 11am, except for a monthly plenary joint benefice Eucharist service which will take place in any one of our 3 churches (St Sennen, St Buryan, St Levan) at 10am. Please see the rota posted on our church door or check the Churches at Land's End facebook page.

First Sunday                            Family Service

This is a less formal service for young and not-so-young, to worship and explore together what it means to be a Christian. There is singing and reading from the bible but also some imaginative ways to explore how we understand faith and our lives.

Every first Sunday at 11:00 AM for 40 minutes.

Second and Fourth Sunday    The Eucharist

This is a more traditional service, also known as Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. People from the congregation read from the bible and offer prayers for the whole community. This service lasts about an hour.

Every second, fourth (and fifth) Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour.

Third Sunday                        Family Eucharist

This is a less formal service of communion, still with readings hymns and prayers but these may be less formally led than in the Eucharist; therefore being as accessible as possible.

Every third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 50 minutes.

Sunday services are followed by light refreshments and a time to chat

For other ad hoc services please look in the porch for details
